Scotia Plumbing came to Websites Made With Love with an outdated website that no longer reflected the professionalism, scale, or trustworthiness of the business.

As a well-established plumbing service operating across central Vancouver Island, Dave needed a refreshed online presence that was clean, compliant, and mobile ready.

The Challenge

Outdated Website
The existing site was functional but dated, with limited mobile optimization and unclear navigation. It didn’t reflect the scope of Scotia’s services or its licensing credentials.

Not Enough Information
The old website does not reflect the growing services that Scotia Plumbing has to offer. In addition, information like home address needs to be set as private and off in all public-facing pages.

Lack of Credential Showcase
As a licensed gas contractor, Scotia Plumbing is required to display its Technical Safety BC Gas Contractor number. The site also needed to include affiliations like FortisBC and the Parksville Chamber of Commerce to build credibility.

    We rebuilt Scotia Plumbing’s site from the ground up, applying a modern, locally‑targeted design focused on ease of use, mobile performance, and trust-building elements:

    • expanded content that includes business credentials and affiliations like FortisBC (Trade Ally) and the Parksville Chamber, with clickable logos
    • clear, reorganized navigation with service-specific pages for Plumbing, Hot Water Tanks, and Company info
    • tap-to-call phone number visible on all pages for quick, direct contact
    • visual refresh using clean, relevant photos of plumbing tools, equipment, and hot water tanks

      The Results

      Scotia Plumbing now has a professional, easy-to-navigate site that instills trust from the moment a user lands on it. The redesign improved usability across devices, clarified service offerings, and made it easier for locals to get in touch with a single tap.

      The site now serves as a powerful local asset compliant, brand-aligned, and built to convert real traffic into phone calls and bookings.
